Snooze is coming to The Switchyard in Queen Creek

Coming soon

Snooze, the breakfast and brunch spot, is planned for Downtown Queen Creek. It's on the town's Coming Soon list.

Listed by the Town of Queen Creek Economic Development office (investtheqc.com) as Coming Soon, checked 2026-09-15.

No opening date has been announced. The original target was mid-2026, and coverage from March 2026 moved that to “by year-end.” As of late August 2026, Snooze is still on the town’s Coming Soon list with no date. We update this page when that changes.

Where it is going

The northeast corner of Ellsworth Loop and Ocotillo, inside The Switchyard, the $120 million walkable district going up in downtown Queen Creek. We wrote a full breakdown of everything landing there: the Switchyard guide.

What Snooze actually is

A Denver-born breakfast and brunch spot. Pancake flights, eggs Benedict, breakfast burritos, and brunch cocktails, with a line out the door most weekends at its other Valley locations. Right now the closest one is in downtown Gilbert, and anyone who has tried to get a Saturday table there knows why Queen Creek getting its own matters.

Who it is opening next to

Snooze was announced the same day as Shake Shack, and the Switchyard lineup has kept growing since: Postino Wine Cafe (aiming for this fall), Bamboo Sushi in its Arizona debut, and Room & Porch. One project, most of the town’s most-searched openings.

The honest read on timing

The Switchyard’s restaurant buildings have to finish before any tenant can start its own build-out, and the project timeline has already slipped once. Postino is the only tenant that has said a season out loud. Until Snooze posts a date, treat anything more specific than “late 2026 at the earliest” as a guess.
