Postino is aiming to open this fall, and the signage went up in late August. Of everything coming to The Switchyard, this is the one with the nearest date. Watch for a hiring event as the next signal.
What is confirmed
The buildout is real and specific: about 3,800 square feet inside with 107 seats, plus a 1,953 square foot patio with 86 more. That is a big room by wine bar standards, and the patio timing works out nicely for an Arizona fall opening.
What Postino actually is
A Phoenix-born wine cafe known for bruschetta boards, approachable wine, and the happy hour deal that made it famous across the Valley. It is a first for Queen Creek, and it is exactly the kind of “nice place for a date that is not a sports bar” that keeps coming up when locals list what the town is missing.
What is around it
Postino is the leading edge of The Switchyard, the walkable district at Ellsworth Loop and Ocotillo. Right behind it: Snooze, Shake Shack, Bamboo Sushi, and Room & Porch. If Postino’s opening goes well, it sets the tone for the whole corner.
