Grand opening is set for Wednesday, November 11, 2026. Vestar, the company that owns Queen Creek Marketplace, announced the date in a press release at the end of September 2026, and Barnes & Noble’s own store finder already lists the Queen Creek store. We’ll update this page if the date moves.
Where it is
21546 S Ellsworth Loop Rd, inside Queen Creek Marketplace at Rittenhouse and Ellsworth Loop Roads. It sits near T.J. Maxx and J.Crew.
What you’re getting
A 15,000-square-foot bookstore with a café. That’s a full-size Barnes & Noble, not a small-format shop, so you can browse for a while and sit down with a coffee.
Until now, the closest Barnes & Noble stores have been at SanTan Village in Gilbert and Dana Park in Mesa. Now Queen Creek gets its own, right where people already shop.
It’s the first of five
Barnes & Noble is the first of five new Marketplace tenants Vestar announced, and those five push the center to 96% leased. The rest come in 2027:
- Aubergine Kitchen, early 2027
- Jinya Ramen Bar, early 2027
- LaserAway, early 2027
- LongHorn Steakhouse, spring 2027, its first in the Southeast Valley
Applebee’s is also on the town’s Coming Soon list for this center, with no date yet.
