Applebee's is coming to Queen Creek Marketplace

Coming soon

The neighborhood grill and bar Applebee's is on the way to Queen Creek Marketplace near Rittenhouse and Ellsworth Loop Roads.

Listed by the Town of Queen Creek Economic Development office (investtheqc.com) as Coming Soon, checked 2026-10-17.

No opening date has been announced. Applebee’s filed planning permits with the town in late 2025, and as of October 9, 2026, the town’s economic development office still lists it as Coming Soon. Applebee’s own location finder doesn’t show a Queen Creek restaurant yet either. We update this page the moment a date is posted.

Where it is going

Queen Creek Marketplace, at Rittenhouse and Ellsworth Loop Roads. Plans put it at the corner of Rittenhouse and Ellsworth, in front of the Harkins theater, so it lands right where the dinner-and-a-movie crowd already parks.

What to expect

The plans include a pickup window, so to-go orders shouldn’t mean parking and walking in. Inside, it’s the Applebee’s you know: burgers, riblets, boneless wings, and the bar specials.

Until it opens, the closest Applebee’s locations are in Gilbert and Mesa.

This isn’t Queen Creek’s first try

Back in February 2016, the Planning and Zoning Commission voted 5 to 0 for a 5,250-square-foot Applebee’s in this same shopping center, with seating for about 190. That plan didn’t produce a Queen Creek Applebee’s, and ten years later the town still doesn’t have one. The late-2025 filing is a new project.

Who it’s opening next to

Queen Creek Marketplace is filling up fast. Also on the town’s Coming Soon list for this corner: LongHorn Steakhouse, Jinya Ramen Bar, Aubergine Kitchen, and Barnes & Noble. Harkins and Olive Garden are already open in the center.
