Target: early 2027. That’s the timing Vestar, the company that owns Queen Creek Marketplace, gave in a press release at the end of September 2026. No exact date yet. We update this page when one is set.
Where it is going
Queen Creek Marketplace, at Rittenhouse and Ellsworth Loop Roads, near Barrio Queen and Trader Joe’s. It’s about 3,000 square feet, near the incoming JINYA Ramen Bar.
What Aubergine Kitchen is
A family-owned restaurant group serving salads, bowls, smoothies, and more. Queen Creek will be its second Arizona location. It fits the lunch crowd that already shops Trader Joe’s and Target in the same center.
The rest of the Marketplace lineup
Aubergine is one of five new tenants Vestar announced, and together they push the center to 96% leased:
- Barnes & Noble, grand opening November 11, 2026
- JINYA Ramen Bar, early 2027
- LaserAway, early 2027
- LongHorn Steakhouse, spring 2027
Where the date comes from
The early 2027 target is from Vestar’s announcement, reported by the Queen Creek Independent and AZ Big Media. Aubergine hasn’t posted its own date. Restaurant openings slip over permits, inspections, and construction, so treat early 2027 as the plan, not a promise. We checked these sources on October 9, 2026.
