Rosati's Pizza on Ellsworth: grand opening October 17

Now open

The Chicago-style pizza spot has opened near Riggs and Ellsworth Roads. Stop in for deep dish, pasta, and more.

Listed by the Town of Queen Creek Economic Development office (investtheqc.com) as Now Open, checked 2026-10-17.

Grand opening: Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 1 to 3 p.m. The flyer promises free slices and Tiki Jo’s shaved ice.

The doors have been open since early September. Rosati’s main Facebook page announced on September 4, 2026 that the Queen Creek store was officially open, so the October party is the big celebration, not the first day. The town’s economic development office lists it as Now Open, and Rosati’s own location page shows regular hours, dine-in, carryout, delivery, and catering.

Where it is

25166 S Ellsworth Rd, Suite B101, near Riggs and Ellsworth, between Johnson Ranch and Power Ranch. Phone is 480-919-0500.

Hours (from Rosati’s site): Sunday through Thursday 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. The dining room closes an hour before the kitchen, and last orders are taken 30 minutes before close.

Not the Johnson Ranch Rosati’s

There’s another Rosati’s at 287 E Hunt Highway in Johnson Ranch that also uses a Queen Creek mailing address. It’s a sister store, and it’s the one that announced this grand opening, but it’s a separate location with its own phone number, (480) 677-4000. If you’re ordering online, double-check which location you picked.

What’s on the menu

Rosati’s started in Mount Prospect, Illinois, in 1964 and now has more than 120 restaurants. Pizza comes thin crust, double dough, Chicago deep dish, stuffed, or on a gluten-free crust. Beyond pizza, there are wings, sandwiches, salads, pasta, calzones, and desserts.

The owners, Lee and Heather Kroll, already run several Rosati’s locations in Arizona.

What’s next: a liquor license

A new Series 12 restaurant liquor license for this location went before the Queen Creek Town Council on October 7, 2026. A Series 12 license lets a restaurant serve beer, wine, and spirits with food. The agenda item was a recommendation to the state, which issues the license, so drinks may take a little longer to show up on the menu.

Where this comes from

The September 4 opening is from Rosati’s main Facebook page. The grand opening date is from the Johnson Ranch sister store’s Facebook post (October 1, 2026). Open status is from the town’s new-business list, and the address, phone, and hours are from Rosati’s location page. Background on the owners and build-out is from WhatNow (August 12, 2026). The liquor license is from the October 7 Town Council agenda. Event plans can change, so check that Facebook page or call 480-919-0500 before you head over for free pizza. We checked these sources on October 9, 2026.
