Queen Creek Butchery is coming to Power & Chandler Heights

Coming soon

A new butcher shop called Queen Creek Butchery is on the way near Power and Chandler Heights Roads.

Listed by the Town of Queen Creek Economic Development office (investtheqc.com) as Coming Soon, checked 2026-09-15.

The listed target is late summer 2026, with no exact date announced. The shop’s own site says “Coming Late Summer,” and until doors open the owners are pointing customers to their original Gilbert location. We update this page when a firm date lands.

Where it is going

18318 E Chandler Heights Road, at the northwest corner of Power and Chandler Heights. The address technically sits on the Gilbert side of the border, but this corner is Queen Creek’s daily orbit, and the name says where the customers are. Sal’s Pizza is opening in the same new center.

The story behind it

This is the second location of Gilbert Butchery, the shop Dan and Krista Roosevelt opened on Val Vista in 2019. Dan is the master butcher, Krista runs the store, and the two of them live in Queen Creek. This expansion is them opening a shop in their own town.

What they actually sell

A real butcher counter, not a grocery meat case. Hand-cut steaks, dry-aged beef, picanha, tomahawks, dino ribs, house-made sausages and marinades, and fresh ground meats, with nothing pre-packaged. The beef program runs USDA Prime and high Choice Black Angus.

Why this one matters locally

Queen Creek’s growth has mostly brought national chains, and we have written about why chains land first. A butcher shop run by owners who live here is the other kind of growth. If you have been driving to Gilbert for a proper cut, this puts it on your corner.
