New rental home community planned near Power & Germann
A developer wants to build Summerwell Residences, a community of 150 single-family rental homes with a clubhouse and amenities, on about 17 acres just east of Power and Germann roads. The land is currently zoned for commercial use, so it would need to be rezoned for housing.

Public Hearing and possible action on Summerwell Residences Rezoning (P26-0058) and Site Plan (P26-0059). Request to Rezone approximately 16.8 acres from C-2 (General Commercial) to MDR/PAD (Medium Density Residential/Planned Area Development) along with Site Plan approval for the development of a residential community consisting of 150 single-family detached and attached rental units, community clubhouse, and associated amenities. The subject site is located approximately 300 feet east of the northeast corner of Germann and Power roads.
