The one that is open now
21202 S Ellsworth Loop Road, Unit 100, at Queen Creek Marketplace. It opened in late October 2024. About 4,400 square feet, more than 150 seats, an indoor-outdoor bar, and daytime-only hours, 7:00 AM to 2:30 PM every day.
The one that is coming
A second First Watch is on the town’s Coming Soon list at Harvest Station, the retail center at Rittenhouse and Riggs near Schnepf Farms and the Olive Mill. A liquor-license filing puts the address at 23021 E Riggs Road, Suite 108. No opening date has been announced. Harvest Station is also bringing Tru Bowls, Salted Wellness Studio, and Presidential Pools.
What First Watch actually is
A daytime cafe chain out of Florida. Breakfast, brunch, and lunch only, then it closes. No heat lamps, no microwaves, no deep fryers, and the menu rotates seasonally five times a year. The Avocado Toast, Lemon Ricotta Pancakes, and Million Dollar Bacon are the orders you hear about.
Why a second one, two years in
The first location filled up fast, and the east side of town near Harvest and Schnepf Farms keeps adding rooftops. Opening a second store four miles from a busy first one is a bet on how fast that side of Queen Creek is growing.
