About Julie

I got my start in the mortgage business as a processor back when interest rates sat at 17 percent, a baptism by fire that taught me early on just how much a home loan can mean to a family, especially when the numbers are working against them. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of helping everyone from first-time buyers to retirees finance their first home or their next best one.

No two homes are the same, condos, estates, everything in between, and no two homebuyers’ situations are either. We carry loan products that cover the full range of needs, but it’s my job to understand the nuances of each person’s story so we can get them to the closing table. I like to say we take it step by step, until the day our client steps through the door of their new home.

After years in this business, I’m proud to have found a company that shares that same commitment: making the path to a new home loan as short and pleasant as possible. The whole organization runs on three things, efficiency, empathy, and education. Through education, we help the real estate community sell homes and help more people achieve homeownership, simply by understanding what we know.

We say mortgage loans are what we do, not who we are. That shows up in the programs we offer, VA financing for the veterans who’ve earned it many times over, first-time homebuyer programs, jumbo loans for more affluent buyers, and reverse mortgages that help seniors stay in the homes they love longer. It also shows up in our impact: every closing I’m part of contributes to an organization that has provided over 400 trained service dogs to veterans.

At the end of the day, it’s the people we serve who make this work exciting and different every single day. We work hard, and we sleep well knowing we’ve helped add just a little more to someone’s American dream.
